Bring your marriage legal papers, and if your previous wife is willing to meet you at the Ampure you married with two witnesses each, it is done in 30 min more or less.

Not sure that this process will invalidate your French Marriage you need to get advice from the French Embassy or a French lawyer.

Registration in France is a seperate matter, I just got divorced in Norway filling out online separation application, and sign electronically. We both did that, and after one year divorced after I applied for divorce stating we did not live together during the last year.  Not sure we both needed to sign after year. In France maybe different.

we divorced first in Norway, and found time to meet up in Bangkok at the Ampure. No need for showing divorce paper from Norway.

Thai side is easy if both parties work together, otherwise you look at court and it gonna take long. France part is a separate thing and could actually hunt you longer in terms of trying to get the new wife a visa (if wished).
