Cheap, yes.  If you only want it just to get your TP.  Be aware that there is a 14-day waiting period before the insurance cover kicks in.  Otherwise you have to provide a "negative" PCR test result within 72hrs to activate it (point #5 of their underwriting conditions).

Most people buy this policy just to meet the requirement of the TP and there after "throw" it away.  I am not a insurance agent but I believe the 14-day waiting period means 14 days after arrival.

Thanks, that's just what I want it for, just to be able to show the dates for my entry with the Thailand Pass!
