Washing vacuum cleaners

Featured Replies

I want to purchase a vacuum that washes as well to clean car seats and sofas.

I know nothing about washing vacuum cleaners or where to purchase them.

Does anybody have any experience with them?

You mean a WetVac or ShopVac?

yes that sort of thing - Vax was the last brand I can remember from the 80s

Most "shop" Vacs are wet/dry and the water squirting carpet cleaning nozzle is an add on.

If in store checking they usually have a ball to stop over filling the tank.

Go to a shop like Home Pro, check out the Kärcher cleaners

"If in store checking they usually have a ball to stop over filling the tank"  Over filling the tank might be fun, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a ball.
