The popular SansaNook water park in Samut Prakan near the Thai capital Bangkok has announced on its Facebook page that it is closing down for good.

Its last day of operation will be the public holiday next Monday May 16th (Wisakha Bucha day replacement holiday).

Daily News reported that patrons could enjoy the facilities every day from 10 am to 7 pm for just 99 baht a person, young or old.

Visitors can wear shorts and T-shirts rather than swimming costumes and are allowed to bring their own food.

The park thanked its customers for their support over the years.

Many past customers posted their regret at the closure of the park also known as SanZanook.

Bangkok Business News reported that the park was opened in 2017.
