I’ve tried Air Asia - on line and their app recognizes me, quotes prices in MYR and Malaysian currencies, but totally frustrating and no answer to my question. Your experience, please.

Oh yeah, I haven’t used them since Jan 2020, and there have been a lot of changes I guess.

None, only PHS to Don Mueng with all the airlines.

AFAIR Bangkok (Don Mueang) is the connecting junction. Airlines fly from there to the north and south. They also fly to the east and the west of Thailand.

 

I don't think that any domestic airline flies accross country north to east or west or to the south to the east or west.

 

So if you want to fly north or south, east or west you must start at Don Mueang. Anywhere else is via Don Mueang.

Useless to search any further.

U-Tapao is still extremely quiet.

Flights to Phuket, Ko Samui und Chiang Mai.

And that not even daily.

That's all I found.

Looks like there are days with not a single commercial flight.

In English and I selected THB as a currency.

 

AirAsia, LionAir and NokAir fly to Phitsanulok (PHS) from DMK. NokAir would be my last choice.

i got something similar a couple of weeks ago,,,,,,wanted to go hatyai......

2 flights one via Chiang Mai.....with stop ove in Bkk

and one via Phucket!!!!!

The funny thing: unexperienced users even book such and realize quite late what's wrong.

The same who book a flight to Sidney instead of Sydney
