Single Entry O Type Spouse Visa

Featured Replies

I have been living in thailand with my wife and child for nearly two years. I am here on a non imigration type o spouse visa. I need too renew my visa on or before the 11 august.

I have renewed before in Bangkok and my wife was specificaly told I do not need too do the 90 Day reporting. I am 49 years old and from england. I have a 3 and a half year old son.

Have the rules changed on the 90 Day reporting or am I Just doing thing's wrong.

P.S I have a Yellow Tabian Barn ( Yellow Book )

Thanks Tom

If you are here on one year extensions of stay (rather than normal 90 day visa entry) you have to make 90 day address reports unless you exit the country before they become due. Anyone staying longer than 90 day at a time must file these reports. The fine is currently 2,000 baht if you are late and start on your own.

Thank you for your reply. I have seen elsewere on this forum that for some people 90 day reporting is not required. However it would be nice to here from someone from sunbelt on this subject. Things change so quick here trying to keep up to date is difficult. The end of your message is not clear if you "start on your own" bit of rewording may help Thank you.

90 day address reporting is required for anyone on a one year extension of stay.

"The fine is currently 2,000 baht if you are late and start on your own." If the catch you before you start on your own it could be a higher amount.

From my knowledge everybody , who does not have a permanent residency , have to report every 90 days , be it a border run for multiples or report with a single . Everything Lopburi is saying is true , no need for anymore confirm . The OP should go to the imm place in his province and look what happens , I do not think he wants a big fine .

What does the OP mean with "P.S I have a Yellow Tabian Barn ( Yellow Book )" ?

has this any special significance?
