Naam Posted June 18, 2007 Share Posted June 18, 2007 problem: roofed and from three sides enclosed pool area. ceiling boards (painted cement boards) show development of black fungus/mildew despite of area being force-ventilated. a fungicide additive is Tetrachloroisophthalonitrile but i have no idea where to buy and what ratio to mix with paint. any advice appreciated. I seem to recall that Nippon Paint & TOA brands have a product with the addative for anti fungus mixed into their acrylic emulsion style paints. I used them on the exterior brick work of my factory five years ago & no fungus or rot whatsoever.
