Can visa fees be paid there (Vientian) with local (kip) currency or necessarily usd and thb? They have a terrible conversion rate in exchange offices ... Greetings from Vientiane! If you have trouble getting a good exchange rate for USD to THB in Vientiane, ask around to find out where you can get a good rate.
