Thai authorities investigate massive agricultural co-operatives fund fraud - two women go to ground

That Rath reported that 300 million baht's worth of assets connected to a massive fraud of a state agricultural co-operatives fund have been seized.

 

Raids by the Department of Special Investigations, Nang Lerng police and other authorities seized 300 million baht in assets in Pathum Thani, Samut Songkhram and Phetchabun provinces. 

 

Houses and restaurants in Pathum Thani as well as two hotels in the other provinces were seized. 

 

Cars including a Porsche and designer bags and watches were included in the haul.

Work continues in what the media said was a 600 million baht fraud. 

 

It is connected to the Savings Cooperative, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives Ltd.

 

Its manager and head of finance - women named as Phuangthip and Siriporn respectively - went into hiding before the fraud was revealed.

Check some police chiefs bank balance or garage !
