Thailand Pass: received approval instantly - scam?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I just did the online Thailand Pass registration, going through the steps/pages, uploading the images etc.

When I hit the final "Submit" button, I instantly received two e-mail from [email protected]

The first one (as it appears in my inbox) is titled: "Your registration on the Thailand Pass system has been approved".

The second is titled: "Your registration on the Thailand Pass system".

Oddly, the first e-mail says:

I did not open the PFD.

The second e-mail only says:

Should I ignore the attached PDF and only check on Thailand Pass?

Or was my application for Thailand Pass QR code actually approved within seconds?

Thanks!

Can't tell from experience but this is how they promised it to work after the last changes.

Congrats.

Nothing unusual except that they still sent the "received.."/"48 hours".

The (approved...) mail shown first in your inbox has been sent after the second on your inbox (received...). Normal order.

First in your inbox is second one sent

but in the correct order

The order as described the OP IS correct for email clients.

Newest/latest mail is on top/first in the list.

Nothing unusal.

Hi,

I just did not expect it to be approved within 1 - 2 seconds.

I signed in to TP to check and this is my status:

So I downloaded the pdf with QR code.

Guess it was approved within seconds.

I would expect that someone would first check what I uploaded, but guess not.

Or do they have the algorithm working properly?

Anyhow, I got the QR code ????

Don't expect any consistency.  My first approval last November took seconds.  The second one in March with exactly the same details -  insurance, vaccine certs with QR etc. (obviously new hotel booking), took 6 days.  Just about to apply again - hopefully for the last time.
