INN reported that local volunteers, state railway staff and "kind" railway police were offering free haircuts to males.

A tent has been set up in the parking lot of Khon Kaen station.

It says the haircuts are free.

Haircutting expert Professor Michael Isaan said the joint collaboration was to help ease people's economic hardship.

The railway authorities were chipping in with the location and free electricity.
