jdinasia Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Maybe there is a lesson in the fact that you were suspended for a long time in your home country? but is it possible? Maybe .. depends on where you are living in Thailand and if you have the visa req'd
Berty Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 You can drive on your library card in Thailand so don't worry about it. Just keep a few reds handy. Get yourself a Thai license, easy to do.
Tywais Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 You can look in this topic for information on obtaining the license > http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=27462 and some of the rules of the road here > http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=119099 Without an existing license you will need to take the written and practical (driving test) and vision test. All of which are fairly easy. Believe a non-o visa is required, but others will know for sure.

Any category of Non-Imm will be fine.
