Maybe there is a lesson in the fact that you were suspended for a long time in your home country?

but is it possible? Maybe .. depends on where you are living in Thailand and if you have the visa req'd :o

You can drive on your library card in Thailand so don't worry about it. Just keep a few reds handy.

Get yourself a Thai license, easy to do.

Without an existing license you will need to take the written and practical (driving test) and vision test. All of which are fairly easy. Believe a non-o visa is required, but others will know for sure.

Applicant for a Thai drivers licence must have a Non-Immigrant visa. Any category of Non-Imm will be fine.
