2 million meth pills seized from after a wild car chase near Bangkok

Police seized more than two million methamphetamine pills from an abandoned van, which had been modified to look like an ambulance, following a car chase involving police from Saraburi province, through Ayutthaya, into Bangkok’s Min Buri area, yesterday (Sunday).

Rohingyas found on an Andaman Sea island to face illegal entry charges and return to Bangladesh

Royal Thai Navy units delivered water and food to the remote island approximately 70 to 80 km off the coast on Saturday for the relief of 59 Rohingya refugees stranded on a rocky shoreline. The group were later transferred by patrol boat to the mainland, in Satun province, on Sunday.

Siam Rath reported on the aftermath of an attack on a 64 year old woman called Patchanee Damrongphan qfrom Sao Changok sub-district of Bang Khla district, Chachoengsao in the central east of Thailand who was seriously bitten in the leg by a crocodile while fishing for prawns.

No masks outdoors to be proposed by new Bangkok Governor

Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt has announced that he will propose that that the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) allow people in the capital to remove their face masks when outdoors, as daily new COVID-19 infections are decreasing and the economy is recovering.
