A 45-year-old British man wanted for child sexual abuse charges was arrested by Chonburi immigration officers for overstay and was set for extradition.

Chonburi Suppression of Illegal Immigrants officers collaborated with the National Crime Agency (NCA) to arrest a 45-year-old suspect William (last name withheld by officers) for alleged overstay. The suspect, according to the officers, was also wanted by the UK National Crime Agency on child sexual abuse charges. The arrest took place yesterday, Sunday, June 5th, 2022 in the Huai Yai subdistrict, Bang Lamung, Chonburi.

Thai police should check his computers.  He would have been doing the same here.  I would rather see him do some time in a Thai prison than in a UK prison.

Not sure about UK laws but in the US laws, the prosecutor has to convince the judge that he is a flight risk to take this passport away. Assuming laws are same, it is prosecutor's stupidity or leniency or laziness

Let him spend few years in Bangkok Hilton before deporting him.

This is one person I would recommend try that plastic bag rejuvenation therapy.

Cut off his Knackers easy fix, then place him I  a Thai Hotel Hilton for 15 years

It is good these types are being pursued to the ends of the earth..... a pity they get out of their home countries and manage to hide out so long.

Never mind taking his passport away, removing his testicles would be better.

Yet another 'Nonce' hiding anywhere he can get to.  Hope he gets sent to Rat Infested Pentonville under Rule 41; 23 Hour Lockdown and one hour walking the yard !

Forgot his mask also..

No blurring of farang faces?  (Not that I am complaining in this case.)  Agree with comments above re 90 day useless reporting.

No problem! Just another brit caught and deported. Seems to me they stand for the most part of the crimes for deported Europeans.

So it's immigration authorities leading the charge for a criminal offense?! ????
