Sources say the man was angry about the Court's recently leaked draft opinion that would overturn the right-to-abortion precedent and recent mass shootings

A California man carrying at least one weapon near Brett M. Kavanaugh’s Maryland home has been taken into custody by police after telling officers he wanted to kill the Supreme Court justice, according to people familiar with the investigation.

The man, described as being in his mid-20s, was found to be carrying at least one weapon and burglary tools, these people said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation. Police were apparently notified that the person might pose a threat to the justice, but it was not immediately clear who provided the initial tip, these people said.

Armed man arrested near Brett Kavanaugh's home charged with attempting to murder a U.S. judge

(CNN)  The Justice Department has charged the man who was arrested near Justice Brett Kavanaugh's house in Maryland early Wednesday with attempting or threatening to kidnap or murder a US judge.

The man, Nicholas John Roske, 26, of Simi Valley, California, had called emergency authorities saying he was having suicidal thoughts and had a firearm in his suitcase, leading to his arrest, according to the criminal complaint.

He told law enforcement he had traveled from California to kill "a specific United States Supreme Court Justice," according to an FBI affidavit filed Wednesday. The affidavit said Roske was upset about the leak of the Supreme Court opinion related to abortion rights, an upcoming gun control case and the school shooting last month in Uvalde, Texas.

How it started.

Chuck Schumer “I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price!”

How it's going.

Quite why Schumer is still a free man after this (what appears to me to be an act of) insurrection or sedition is beyond me. Are American politicians allowed to threaten and incite violence againt Supreme court judges? Does Schumer still have his Twitter account. Was his threat worse than the plump guy saying for his supporters to protest "peacefully and patriotically"?

These are sad times for democracy when double standards are so very blatant now.
