This woman, maybe Israeli, seems to be making the same argument as you. In other countries such as Canada and Australia, once the country is conquered, the indigenous people do not have the right to form their own country within the conquered land. She does have a point. Once conquered, the indigenous are no longer in charge. However, I wonder if Israel is different due to other factors such as they believe "God promised them the land from the river to the sea or whatever" and their plan is to completely remove all the Palestinians. At least indigenous cultures in Canada and Australia are allowed some degree of self-determination on their land. They do have their own land. So is it the Palestinians' fault for not wanting to be subjugated as 2nd class citizens and admitting defeat in the 1948 war/ colonization? I'm not sure.
