Thai Rath reported that male and female traders were smiling last night as tourists went to Jomtien beach to buy food and drink at street stalls.

This coming after two years of quiet during the pandemic.

Many had brought mats to sit on while others availed themselves of the rented deckchairs.

The authorities are allowing the street to be used to sell things from 6 pm to midnight before a more permanent place is found for the vendors.

I was in Jomtien on Saturday there were some people about and normal traffic the beaches are looking better now after new sand was added to the old shallow waterlines, food gone up in price though but all in all and once the Chinese will come back i think Pattaya should be almost back to normal...
