When humor was appreciated for what it was, not twisted into something to use by the PC brigade.

When you had no worries "calling a  spade a spade" and if you offended anyone, you got and dealt with those consequences and learned from it yourself, you didnt need it to be filtered out of your sensitive life .

Ah!   Those were the days!  Doubtless the PC brigade could not see we Brits were 'aving alarf ' at ourselves and no offence was intended.
