Thai Rath reported that 10 officers from the Consumer Protection Division police headed by Pol Maj-Gen Wichai Prasertsang went to the house of Daruma Sushi executive Metha Chalingsuk yesterday in Seri Villa 2, Prawes district of Bangkok.

Metha, 39, is in custody facing charges of online fraud totalling 100 million baht.

Officers took away a safe and a Porsche Cayenne from the property where they also found dozens of designer bags.

The media said that the Anti Money Laudering Office would be examining the provenance of items seized after a search warrant was served yesterday.
