RamenRaven
When your non-immigration O visa (Thai spouse/family) aka marriage visa is under consideration for about 30 days after you submit all of your forms, can you still travel abroad and get a re-entry permit within those 30 days? I know that you would have to return in time to pick up your final stamp again. Edited July 3, 2022 by RamenRaven within
Popular Post Crossy
Yes, I've done it. So long as you return before the "collect" day you are OK. Even if you already have a re-entry permit you need a new one to cover your under-consideration period. Make sure that the entry officer understands that you want to use the re-entry even though it's very short. Mine actually asked if I really wanted to be stamped in for 1 day, I told him I had to visit immigration to get a stamp, he happily stamped for 1 day. 2
blackcab
As mentioned above, make sure you get a re-entry permit, as any re-entry permit you might have had ended the day you were granted your under consideration stamp. The new re-entry permit will only last for about 1 month, but it is very necessary. When you are later given your extension you will then need another re-entry permit if you wish to leave the country and return before your extension expires in about 11 months time. 1
