Man tries to electrocute frogs, dies of electrocution

A man died yesterday after an attempt to electrocute frogs in a pond ended in his own death from an electric shock. The incident happened at 11:10 AM on July 11, 2022 at Serey Voan village, Andek Hep commune, Rattanak Mondul district, Battambang province.

It appears that the man had inserted a live electric cable into the frog pond, in the hope of killing the frogs for food. Unfortunately, the ensuing electric shock resulted in the man’s instant death

According to the police, the victim was named Touch Mao, male, 71 years old (a veteran) living in Serey Voan village, Andek Hep commune, Rattanak Mondul district, Battambang province.
