77kaoded reported with a video about a collision of a passenger van that hit the back of a truck/trailer at the end of Suksawat Soi 51/2 in Phrapradaeng, Samut Prakan last night.

Three passengers were injured with one who got their legs trapped under the dashboard having to be cut out by rescue teams.

Police got the report of the accident at 10.30 pm. There were six passengers in total in the public passenger van.

Wichan the driver of the van, aged 64, admitted to going fast and not seeing the back of the trailer until it was too late.

The trucker call the authorities after feeling the collision, an indication he said that the van was going fast.

Police will be checking CCTV before taking action.

He should have added:

"AS I WAS GLANCING AT MY PHONE"

(surprised like many of you I would imagine that he admitted to going too fast LOL!!)

Really? That must be the first time a Thai admits he did something wrong!

Wow admitting wrongdoing thats a first, My Thai wife has never been wrong in the 12 years we have been together.

Wichan was distracted by a farang … whilst driving in town at high speed perusing his smart phone. Police are searching for the culprit.

No one was killed, so no ghosts to worry about.  The driver would have fled the scene if he had killed someone.
