Sri Racha — Bowin police inspected nightlife venues near the Talay Thong seafood market in Sri Racha after receiving a tip-off from concerned citizens that some individuals were blatantly offering illegal sexual services.

A troop of law enforcement led by Pol. Col. Ekkapop Inthawiwat from the Bowin Police Station surveyed the Talay Thong seafood market in the Bowin subdistrict of Sri Racha on Tuesday, July 20th, following many complaints from concerned citizens about a group of individuals who allegedly offered illegal sexual services around the area.

According to reports, the area around the Talay Thong market was a residential area with hundreds of inhabitants.

They will need a lot more policemen to prevent prostitution... It is everywhere in Thailand, or is doesn't exist... But everywhere you see the prostitutes , allthough it is forbidden but, the same as wearing a a helmet... no enforcement

Wifes ?

Perhaps this is a case of police not getting brown envelopes. AFAIK there are two "entertainment" venues in Chiang Mai that are owned by very senior policemen.

Oh! That must be one that already has a mia noi

I guess it was either that, or watching the football on TV and, as Thailand is not in Europe, or would not still be in the competition, even if they were Europeans, Football lost.

You have my sympathy.

Prostitution?? What Prostitution?? ????

Sounds like a good plaice to meet up.

This is actually a fairly common practice. Quite a few areas of Bangkok operate like this in restaurants. It's all for local Thais

So, they are preventing something that doesn't exist......?

Locals tipped off the police who in turn tipped off the prostitutes. A virtuous circle, not to mention a complete waste of money.

Just ensuring they get their % ?

Did they really need to take a whole regiment to go see a few (hopefully girls) hawking their fork ?

" AMAZING THAILAND " !.

Ah, that's why they call them 'inspectors'. They get an inside look!
