Half a million in Thailand saved by Covid vaccine

Vaccine is now free, safe, widely available, and, as research clearly indicates, very beneficial in Thailand. Thai researcher believes that the government’s Covid-19 vaccination campaign has saved over 490,000 lives over the last two years. This finding is particularly relevant given the introduction of the BA.4 and BA.5 Omicron, more transmissible variants.

Possible crisis brewing over electoral reform bills as Minister says July 6th change cannot work

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health Anutin Charnvirakul responded on Thursday to questions about the voting process for the next General Election raised by Minister of Justice Somsak Thepsutin (inset) who says the change to the proposed bills made on July 6th in a surprise move in parliament is not viable.

 

On Thursday, in response to Minister Somsak’s warning about the viability of electoral reforms being put into practice, the Bhumjaithai Party leader Anutin Charnvirakul did not dismiss the concerns...

DTAC & TRUE announce 7.3 billion Baht VC fund to help spur startups in Thailand
