This is the fourth time Prayut’s and his ministers has been put to a vote and the opposition did a good job to grill him for four days live on television. I think the opposition has no grand illusion that they can win. The opposition accusations live on TV and Prayut’s cringe worthy lack of substance rebuttal will further damaged his image and popularity with the general public ahead of the election. This was an attempt by the oppositions to discredit the ruling 17 party coalition before the next poll and they did an excellent job. Money and time well spent.

And who doubted they wouldn’t … Come on 5555555555

Hardly a surprise - this is a man who originally came to power on the authority of the barrel of a gun. If he thinks that's acceptable to get into power, what is acceptable to stay in power?

Dictatorships are harder to get rid of than White Ants.

Since the dictator run 50 % the only way for him to lose is to tell them to vote him down.

Just like dear old Blighty - 18 July: British Government wins vote of no confidence by 349 to 238. Vaudeville!

he has been in power for 8 years, if my recollection is good, Thai constitution only allows 2 terms of 4 years = 8 years thus general elections should be taking place.... didn't heard anything about it, it means the guy doesn't want to leave but he claims that his government is a democratic one 555

More guns and a steady aim, the "People " don't have the guts or the will to challenge them. By 2026, the tourist's wwho were not needed according to the "Pools" will have forgotten how nice a holiday in Thailand used to be.  Beggars will again be on the street corners being fed by the mafia.
