Daffy D
Simple question I should know the answer to, but don't want to make mistake and order something that won't work The title says "3 Pins US Plug Male", Presumably this means the USA? so the question is will this plug work with Thai sockets? https://www.lazada.co.th/products/3-pins-us-plug-male-socket-electrical-wire-connect-ac-power-adapter-detachable-10amp-250v-i274122974-s434907325.html?spm=a2o4m.order_details.just4u.4.6c6461082G69GE&&search=0&clickTrackInfo=1b243912-080f-439e-8da5-375b925c085d__274122974__13499__i2i__171996__0.066__0.066__0.0__0.0__0.0__0.066__3__null__null__null__null__null__null____90.0__0.44533333333333336__4.925__80__49.92__22030%2C23008%2C23047%2C23052%2C23083%2C24067%2C24069%2C24075%2C24077%2C38251%2C50092%2C51053%2C53903%2C54766%2C58685%2C58818%2C64547%2C64777%2C69806%2C72078%2C75899%2C76899%2C80038%2C80199%2C80438%2C80886%2C82420%2C83896%2C84109%2C85528%2C87691%2C88166%2C88224%2C88467%2C89186%2C89187%2C89487%2C89491%2C89536%2C89564%2C89566%2C89684%2C91632%2C92273%2C92322%2C92323%2C92443%2C94226%2C95354%2C96086%2C96563%2C97766%2C100048%2C100116%2C101724%2C101825%2C102684%2C103150%2C105635%2C105743%2C106116%2C107289%2C107629%2C108012%2C110079%2C110278%2C111385%2C111709%2C112107%2C113003%2C115402%2C117557%2C119328%2C120160%2C120657%2C121868%2C121951%2C122209%2C122584%2C126388%2C126918%2C128053%2C129114%2C129896%2C129993%2C129994%2C129995%2C129996%2C130069%2C130071%2C130147%2C130711%2C130815%2C131854%2C136109%2C136175%2C136964%2C136966%2C137075%2C137084%2C137159%2C140996%2C140998%2C141200%2C141222%2C141764%2C142007%2C142021%2C142133%2C142134%2C149620%2C150218%2C155592%2C155688%2C155691%2C155692%2C155791%2C155909%2C156006%2C158442%2C158463%2C158494%2C159012%2C160749%2C162251%2C162332%2C163240%2C164641%2C167760%2C169995%2C174542%2C174623%2C181282%2C181371%2C181639%2C183590%2C186029%2C186558%2C186965%2C186978%2C187057%2C187065%2C187222%2C187248%2C191850%2C194271%2C194333__null__null__null__null__null__14025__null__0.0__0.
Crossy
Yeah, it will fit Thai outlets just fine. The problem is that the cord exits from the side when inserted in a regular outlet preventing you using two in a double outlet. The (defunct for now) Haco P001 and P002 had cords which allowed two plugs in a double outlet.

MartinL
They look like some I've used about the house. They're fine and act like UK plugs in that they don't pull out of the wall socket. BUT, at least on the ones I used, L and N terminals were labelled backwards for my Thai wall sockets so check that you're connecting in accordance with your installation and not necessarily as the pins are labelled. .

Good point but they should work just fine with the Chang outlets. https://shopee.co.th/ชุดปลั๊กกาวคู่ตราช้าง-ชนิดเสียบสาย-ครบชุด-(บล็อกลอยตราช้างไม่ได้ผลิต)-i.264023644.7537616769?sp_atk=0f078005-6ba4-4357-a2b5-b3af9fefc7fa&xptdk=0f078005-6ba4-4357-a2b5-b3af9fefc7fa

Another good point. Having had past experience with pole reversal units I always now check to make sure I get it right.

The Hammer2021
You can always get any adaptor for any plug and if you want to buy plugs just get them at your local store or market
Buffy Frobisher
The only problem you might face is if you encounter any 2-pin outlets, of which there are still a lot in use. Even at my place the builders used a mix of 2-pin and 3-pin wall outlets - for whatever reason was in their head on the day. But you can buy a 2-pin adapter at any local hardware store or Home Pro. Orinoco
People need to be aware, that now many devices are sold in Thailand with a 3 pin plug on it. But the homes they get used in are only wired for two pin with no earth wire. even if you see a 3 pin socket outlet in the wall, this does not mean there is an earth wire connected on the back of the socket. do check them. I just love the domestic electricians of Thailand.

Yeah, it's common to have 3-pin outlets in the older houses where there's no earth. As I understand they commonly change to the 3-pin outlets so there's no need for an adapter when using modern 3-pin appliances. That way they just deal with what they already have in their house - no much of a choice short of re-wiring the whole place. btw, can anyone share here on when has Thailand officially switched to the earthed electrical system code requirement in private construction?
