Visa Stamp At Kap Choeng

Recommended Posts

Yesterday the family and I stopped at the Surin Big C for supplies on the trip home from Bangkok. At the checkout a guy walked up to me, asked where I lived and then identified himself as an Immigration officer from the local Thai/Cambodian border crossing. After a little small talk about my family he indicated that he could help :o me stamp my visa next time, "if I can talk Thai" and shook my hand........(half of our conversation was in Thai).

I said thanks but my visa is ok, paid for my baked beans and walked out. My wife was watching this brief discussion and immediately said 'this guy is very bad".

Has anyone else been approached by this 'helpful' gentleman from immigration at the local supermarket?

Mike
