I have done EVisas for Vietnam before, but the EVisa application is a bit different from before. There are “radio” buttons for some fields. Unfortunately, clicking on a button brings up a text box with the words “Choose Nationality”, for example, but clicking on the test does nothing. In other words, there is no way to insert your nationality, or complete any field that has radio buttons.

 

Anyone complete an Evisa app lately?

I haven't use the evisa for Vietnam but you may want to try a different browser.  Some websites I use regularly will only work with Chrome and not Edge, and vice versa.

 

Neither Safari nor Firefox got those buttons to give me the list of countries, I will try other browsers, other platforms, etc.

 

Update: Microsoft Edge did the trick.

oh my goodness, Microsoft Edge??? did the Vietnamese government never change from Internet Explorer?? that is truly communist.

I applied last week, but the web site says my application is still processing….

 

And now I have my visa.

I applied again, using a Samsung phone and the Chrome browser, and there were no problems.

 

Except that I applied last week, but my visa is still processing…

I screwed up and forgot to apply for my evisa until 3 days before my flight.

 

The visa didn't come in time, and it's been almost a week, still no visa.

 

What was lame is that I booked my hotel long in advance, but forgot about the visa. 

 

I would recommend applying for the visa at least a week before departure.

My evisa arrived after a week.
