Trump’s CFO Allen Weisselberg Will Implicate Trump Companies in Guilty Plea

Featured Replies

Former Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg

Allen Weisselberg, the Trump Organization’s finance chief, will say in Manhattan court Thursday that he conspired with several of the ex-president’s companies when he pleads guilty to state tax crimes, two sources familiar with the case tell Rolling Stone.

As part of Weisselberg’s plea deal, he has agreed to testify against The Trump Corporation and the Trump Payroll Corporation at trial, which is scheduled for October.

If called to the witness stand during trial, Weisselberg will provide testimony that is the same as what he admits to in court this week, the source said.

100 days in Rikers is no picnic. + $2 million fine.

I recall Michael Cohen say:

"Stand by Trump and you'll end up just like me..., in jail."

Indicted so far:

M. Flynn, Rick Gates, Manaforte, Popadopulos, R. Stone, S. Bannon, P. Navarro, Tom Barrak, Elliott Brody, Michael Cohen, Alan Weiselberg, George Nadar.

Next wave of indictments? Rudy, Lindsey Graham,.....

Really doesn't matter the court outcome in Oct as Trump Organization image and brand have been so severely damaged that it will be difficult for the company to survive.

One of the sources told Fox News that "there’s absolutely no cooperation" against Trump or his family but said that Weisselberg would be expected to testify against the Trump Organization as an entity if he enters the plea agreement, which is expected to be formally entered this Thursday.

So you’ve found a Fox News opinion that contradicts the news being reported widely elsewhere.

I’m however with you on your ‘Good For Him’ thing.

I’m sure Weisselberg will do exactly whats ’Good for himself’.

But at a hearing on Thursday, Weisselberg learned that failing to cooperate could result in 15 years of jail time. Under the deal, the CFO would have to testify in a trial against former President Donald Trump's company.

Prosecutor Joshua Adam Steinglass told the court that his office would seek significant prison time if Weisselberg violates the terms of the plea agreement.

Not how it works. He  is required to truthfully testify at the Trump organization trial on the same charges in October. There is zero chance he will not be asked about Trump's  knowledge of what took place. If he chooses not to  answer truthfully his trial judge can resentance him up to 15 years

Actually, the DA's office has agreed that he doesn't have to testify against Trump. So, they won't go back on their word. A judge really wouldn't like that. That said, he has plenty of evidence to offer against the Trump organization. And given what we know about how it was run, it's virtually impossible that Trump didn't know about these illegal arrangements and most likely there will be others who can testify to that effect.

Here's what the Trump organization had to say about the massive tax cheater:

“Allen Weisselberg, a long-time, trusted employee of The Trump Organization, is a fine and honorable man who, for the past four years, has been harassed, persecuted, and threatened by law enforcement, particularly the Manhattan district attorney, in their never-ending, politically motivated quest to get President Trump,” the company said in a statement.

This is a good explanation from Andrew Weissmann.

This could possibly (HOPEFULLY!) lead to the death penalty for the clearly corrupt Trump Organization. Yes, that is a thing.

Thanks for that. Looks like I got it wrong.

No doubt the grifter king will soon be out with a new email blast begging URGENTLY for $$ from the kool aide cult and as usual they will give $$ to the guy who brags over and over and over about how very very rich he is and has always been.  Not exactly the sharpest knives in the drawer and the king of cons knows how to play the rubes.
