Daily News Thai Caption: One million baht bail

Daily News reported that yesterday the Pattaya court had granted bail in the sum of one million baht to Somyot Panprasong or "Sia Yot".

The father of Pongsiri or "Sia B" had initially been ordered held for 12 days.

Earlier Sia B was named as the owner of Mountain B where a fire killed 19 people earlier this month.

Speculation has been rife as to who the real owner is. Sia B is out on bail on a far lower sum.

Sia Yot must wear an EM (electronic monitoring) band, not tamper with witnesses and must report to the court several times at the end of the second, fourth and seventh detention periods.

So they had a money to bail out father and son but not enough to give to the victims? Disgusting people.

Yes ! People that behave in this way do tend to be somewhat disgusting

If Sia B is a man with lots of money, then I will speculate that it was his money which

expanded the Mountain B and got it made into an entertainment spot. Follow the money

is always a good thing to do, and how could a 27 year old have the money or even credit to

have this place built to such a large size?

On their facebook pages, they post up the bank transfer transactions of money to the victims.

Having a rich father goes a long way here...... you can kill police with relative impunity even!

Maybe the court can redistribute the bail money to families so they can bury their dead with dignity and pay-off a few hospital bills which are due payment.
