Daily News Thai Caption: Cruel employer!

Social activist Kan Jompalang took a female soldier to the Ratchaburi police yesterday after revealing details of a horrendous case of abuse by an employer against a female employee on Facebook.

The woman is a female soldier and the employer is the wife of a well known senator. Nobody was named in the graphic Daily News story.

The victim told police how she had met her employer who is a female police officer and allegedly the wife of a senator.

Originally she had worked at the woman's coffee shop and her employer had helped her get a job in the military.

After this she worked for her. All was okay for a year until her allegedly sadistic employer started assaulting her for every minor infringement.

She would be slapped for not speaking nicely.

Have her salary cut by 500 baht for breaking a cup or plate.

She was made to hit herself until she bled.

Her employer used a hair curling tong to burn her hand.

She gave her electric shocks to the body, head and mouth saying she liked to inflict pain.

A metal ruler was used on her. A club broke after one beating. She was not permitted to go and get stitches.

She bears the scars to this day after the beatings and mistreatment that happened over a full two year period.

In addition the employer took all her soldier's salary saying she was the one who got her the job in the first place, it was further alleged.

She produced evidence of this with payslips.

In addition it was claimed that the employer threatened to abduct her parents and others and hurt them.

She said she was like a slave to her 24/7 having to massage her at bedtime.

Daily News did not mention that the police were investigating, leaving the reader hanging.

as her employer is a cop, probably a senior one, this won't get investigated.

The victim should go through some other channels, possibly within ministry of interior itself.

Possibly with help from the army office.

How this victim was able to work 2 full time jobs - coffee shop and army barracks?

Why she did not quit coffee shop, if she was abused?

She had means to support herself.

Surely, she needs some hard proof about her injuries, scars, witnesses. And possibly the other employees from that shop, clients, neighbours, who would support her story.

I couldn't imagine an employer forcing an employee to beat themselves until they bled. Physically difficult to do even if threatened with a weapon.

Surely it depends on with what they're made to hit themselves.

Police woman who kept 30-year-old soldier as a slave rocks Thailand, exposing a dark culture
by Carla Boonkong & Pranee O' Connorin

Explosive details of a woman’s 2-year nightmare as a slave within the house of a serving Special Branch police woman who claimed to be the mistress or minor wife of a Thai senator have sparked calls for investigations to be carried out and full transparency to allay public concern and anger.

A TV programme broadcast on Thai TV’s Channel 3 on Thursday night in the kingdom has seen calls for internal probes within the Royal Thai Army, Police Special Branch and the Senate after shocking details emerged of the abuse of a 30-year-old woman, who claimed to be a former member of the military until May this year.

She told viewers she was kept as a slave by a serving member of the police in Ratchaburi, a special branch officer and allegedly the mistress of a Thai senator. On Saturday, the 43-year-old police officer surrendered to police at Ratchaburi Police Station and was interviewed by the Assistant National Police Commissioner Police Lieutenant General Surachate Hakparn who warned that she may face serious human trafficking charges if the allegations against her are proven in due course.

Stupid comment!

Stupid is as stupid does? It's a question. Not a comment. And why was it stupid? I found nothing unrealistic in the victim claiming she had been forced to hurt herself to the point of bleeding (that's a comment).

Is this another, or the same one? Thai Rath reported another similar story about a week ago, soldier and maid of some high ranking lady. The abused had set up a hidden camera to catch the abuser inspecting the floor, then smacking her while going "mai sa-ad, mai sa-ad!" (not clean, not clean!) The news then showed a bruise on her leg, but none of the other gruesome details told here.

I wish I had recorded all the insanity the psychos at that joke of a certain famous BKK private school had said to me while working there.

This didn't age well seeing the Big Joke is now investigating the case.
