Though checking a couple bird sites, they aren't suppose to be there, Udon Thani, in the wild anyway. Kind of surprised I saw them, along the roadside, and no houses nearby. Might be worth looking and seeing if there is a label on the box showing producer. Or maybe look in the local food markets or Talats and ask there. We just bought 100 eggs and had a good rate of survievers, 75 made it. Funny now, I found meat birds in Phuket too. I remember being served quail as an entrée in a rather posh restaurant many years ago and wondered if it had even been worth killing the bird for the small amount of meat which was on it! And yet, I saw them by the side of the road. If eating, raising, selling, you'll need to buy anyway, unless you hunt & forage for your meals/farming????
