Thai Rath reported on a viral video on TikTok that got 4 million views in a single day - and thousands of comments.

 

The video taken from CCTV by jessie_cheetah featured a young boy in scout's uniform giving some early morning alms to a passing monk.

 

But when the monk puts out his hand to bless the child's head the boy thinks he is doing a "high five" and follows suit.

 

The poster joked: "Is this a sin?"

 

Millions laughed and thousands couldn't resist some friendly teasing of the boy for his charming faux-pas.
