Hello

I have currently ED visa which ends in 2 months. 

I want to switch to other visa. Im not married yet but I have a child with Thai national. I can get married and get marriage visa but not sure if its enough time as my embassy doesnt have available slots in the nearest future.

I heard I can get a visa as a parent of child. Can I do it without leaving a country, how long it takes, what are requirments?

You could apply for a one year extension based upon being the parent of a Thai. You would need 400k baht in the bank on the day you apply (at some office it may be 2 months).

You will need to legitimize your parenthood to apply it it if not married to their mother. Info for doing it is in this topic.
