Thai Computer Component Prices, Similar To The Us?

Featured Replies

As said before, anything over midrange level is either hard to find or very expensive!

The US is definately the cheapest, but most of Europe is very expensive, almost being more expensive then over here!

I have yet to see an AMD FX cpu over here, while it is the mainstream cpu for gamers a long while already in the rest of the world...

That said, a decent machine, based on a amd 64-3500 cpu and decent additional hardware should end up cheaper then in Europe, and not to much more expensive then in the states!

I'm an avid reader of the Maximum PC magazine and their Dream machine 2005 with dual cpu's, dual video cards etc came to a whopping 12,800 US$ streat price in the US... Hardly cheap

And tested the same month, a Monarch Nemesis based on the FX 57, a machine not considered the absolute top of the line would still cost you 4300 US$!!!

oops, yes...

but not in stock, only on order, which many times means weeks of waiting with pantipprice....

But certainly not too expensive considering pantipprice is on average 5% more expensive compared to the Thai street price...

This should mean you could find it for around 37000 Baht.

price range in the US is between 805 and 890 $ (=33000 and 37000 Baht) so it is overpriced but not like top of the line equipment used to be!!!
