Buriram Cannabis Festival

I have just heard on the news that there is a 3 day cannabis festival coming up at the Chang stadium  in Buriram  not sure if I've got the dates right as I wasn't really listening and by the time I realised what they were saying the clip was over  but I think is the 25,26 and 27th of November  Has anybody else heard anything?

Yes, those dates are correct.

 

I think tickets are 700 baht for one day, and 1,700 for three days. But that may be "early-bird" pricing.

oh god ..... please  !!    so is it 1000 cannabis junkies high as a kite roaming the streets.   Burriram RTP will have their work cut out for them that's for sure.....  better put extra officers on at that event .....

Has Thailand really gone crazy?  I think it's lost the plot to be honest ......

Would you have had the same hysterical reaction if it had been a Beer Festival ? If not why not?

               Why do you think anybody would be roaming the streets ?  Is that what you think  "cannabis    junkies"  do when they are high?  And please do tell us  what you think all the extra police are needed for . 

              You needn't worry as I mentioned in the OP  The event will be taking place in the Chang Stadium. 

So I am pretty sure there will be armed guards making sure the filthy druggies are contained  inside the venue for the duration of the "drug taking"  and I have heard rumours of a curfew in Buriram for the three days in question,     Fathers have been advised to actually "lock up " their  daughters  not only for their own protection. from drug crazed rapists (possibly roaming the streets)  but also  to stop them sampling the devils lettuce and becoming drug crazed nymph's themselves

But assuming you live in Buriram you can simply stay home to avoid the "junkies".

 

There was a similar but smaller event back in June in Nakhon Pathom, with music, camping, comraderie and retail business showcase.

Without Cannabis, the world would be a very different and boring place.
