Thai Ambassador to Attend Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II

BANGKOK, Sept 19 (TNA) – The Thai ambassador to the United Kingdom will attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II as the representative of Thailand, according to the Foreign Ministry.

 

Confirming the attendance, Tanee Sangrat, director-general of the Department of Information and spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, said that Thailand mourned Queen Elizabeth II and shared sorrow for the great loss.

 

For the funeral, Thai ambassador in London Pisanu Suvanajata who was the representative of Thailand in the United Kingdom would attend it as allowed by the UK, Mr Tanee said.
