US Customs and Border Protection encounters along the US-Mexico border have already topped 2 million so far this fiscal year, according to newly released agency data, with migration from countries like Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba driving numbers up.

In August, migrant encounters jumped to 203,598 along the US southern border, data shows. Of those, 22% involved people who crossed more than once.

On March 1, Mayorkas emphatically said “the answer is no” when asked if there was a crisis, saying instead that there is a “challenge at the border that we are managing.”

On March 2, Psaki reiterated the administration would “approach this without labeling.” She again declined to describe it as a crisis on March 5, March 9 and March 10 when asked directly whether she would attribute the word “crisis” to the situation.

yea. We miss the good old days when the economy was crushed & unemployment skyrocketed due to the worst pandemic response in the world. Weren’t many border crossings. 
Bring back Trump. No jobs- no border crossings. Simple. 

Every country has problems at the border. 
Republicans call it a crisis when Democrats are in charge.

Republicans know immigration is a huge issue with the bigots and racists.

Last week it was “pronouns” that had the usual posters all agitated.

That's what WALLS are for. All Trump had to do was order the Army Corps of Engineers to construct a real wall from the gulf to the Pacific. But he wimped out on that.

He tried, but couldn't get funding for it till he apparently diverted funds to the wall he did build. I'm surprised you don't remember all that.

Yes it is very unfortunate that these liberal saps in government, at all levels, can block necessary enforcement projects while taking the country to ruin. Lot to be said for a more authoritarian democracy: You can be sure this wall would have been built with Singaporean style.
