Of course they do ! The UK Gov sites are to inform people of the situation today - not what happened in history (which is steeped in "discrimination" as you put it.) They don't necessarily reflect my personal situation any more than they do yours but they do inform people what they can claim now, or in the future until the rules are changed. However much you like or dislike the ASP it has no import on the present day, therefore no place on Gov sites, which are the final arbiter. -

Yes, but 2 things to remember: The danger of covid for the elderly doesn't just grow in a linear way with age. It gets a exponentially more dangerous the older you get, 65, 70, 75, 80 are not the same risk at all. And we all think like @Lacessit: I had it once or twice, it wasn't so bad, it won't be so this time around. Wrong. Every course of covid can be completely different from the last one. My family doctor (70y.o.) treated his first bout of covid successfully with a couple of dark beers. Unfortunately, the second time it didn't work. He was bedridden for 3 weeks. -

Restore lost Yellow Book
Went to Amphoe 3rd time today, spent 4h45m + 60baht and got my pink ID. They've got a peculiar queuing system there. If you come at 8am, just press the corresponding button on touch screen of the queue machine, A B or C. I came at 11-15am and button C (for ID cards) was covered with scotch tape and piece of paper saying Queue is Full in Thai. I've been told yesterday to come 8am or at noon. So I thought ok I'll wait until noon and maybe they will remove the tape and I'll press the button. Waited until 11-55 the staff started to go on a lunch break and as they were coming towards me I asked what should I do. Turns out the queue is now formed outside! by the security guy, writing numbers in his notepad! I came first but suddenly turned out to be the last one in the queue. Guard asked everyone to form a line outside, calling them one by one from 1st until last. Then he called me to go to the back of the line. Then he started to let everyone in to the queue machine and pressed the buttons himself. What is the purpose of this??? I should've just pressed the button even with the paper still taped to the screen. I've seen on thai guy do this, it worked. Then I would've been first in the queue and could just ignore this charade. So if you are reading this and plan on goin to Amphoe Thalang - just press the button at 11am) As I finally got to the photo room 2 old farangs cut in front of me, turns out they've paid an agent. Agent didn't use the queue, called over staff and things started happening for them.- 1

Yes, there are some indeed . But, that dividend and long term cap gains info does not necessarily have to end up with the TRD - thankfully (in this instance) “we” are not on the CRS so unless one is audited by the TRD, or willingly submits this info - it could be ok, in a sense. -

I was driving into SCB bank's ATM entrance on Asoke (near Asoke Tower Condominium) when I saw this 'beast' python progressing down the drive away from Asoke (toward the khlong or the drainage ditch). I was shocked, it 'must' have just passed the security's booth nearer to Asoke or come out of one of the rain drains. My estimate...4.25-5 mtrs long. It was big. -

If the first few pages of the executive summary are correct, it's worse than that. The Doha agreement called out conditions to be met before leaving. The conditions were not being met, but Biden made the choice to withdraw anyway. No way he can legitimately blame that on Trump. Of course, if you read only the MSM, everything bad that's happened since 2015 is Trump's fault. The Biden-Harris administration was determined to withdraw from Afghanistan, with or without the Doha Agreement and no matter the cost. Accordingly, they ignored the conditions in the Doha Agreement, pleas of the Afghan government, and the objections by our NATO allies, deciding to unilaterally withdraw from the country. -
