Two groups of teenage students allegedly had an altercation in front of the Pattaya police station before firing three rounds from a firearm into the sky, terrifying nearby tourists.

Pol. Capt. Sontaya Khansub from the Pattaya police station received a report from terrified tourists about a group of teenage students on motorbikes who allegedly fired a gun into the air to threaten another group on Pattaya Beach near Soi 9 at 1 AM today, September 28th. This was directly in front of the Pattaya Police station.

A group of about 20 teenagers, some of whom were in school uniforms, dispersed as soon as the police arrived from across the street, stunned by the gunfire. Pattaya police then approached one teenager only identified as “Mos” aged 16-years-old who said he studied at a school in Bang Lamung.

Are Pattaya's recreational marijuana shops attracting Thai teenagers and young men? Haven't been to Pattaya in a very long time, but can't recall ever seeing large groups of young Thai men hanging out on Beach Road. Armed suggests possible gang or criminal activity. What's going on? Any thoughts on this would be welcome.

These days , students have guns .

And use them .

Better wear a bulletproof vest and your mask when going out ....?

Don't look at anybody , because they might not like the way you look at them ...? 55

It's a mad , mad world , we're both in it , may have a lifetime , may have a minute ... ( talking heads )

Said it before, say it again, all kids found to be doing things like this, get automatic black ball into the army for 5 years - save them a day dressing up a women

At least in the cells overnight and only released to their parents after a bail payment..... but for this we need a police force that doesn't quit at 6pm.
