Pattaya — Several parts of Pattaya became deluged after a two-hour downpour struck the city late afternoon, October 3rd.

The affected areas were mostly Pattaya Second Road, Beach Road, North Pattaya Road, Sukhumvit Road, and South Pattaya Road.

The water level in certain areas was so high that the road became impassable for motorcycles, according to Pattaya traffic police.

I wasn't aware that this is news... just an excuse to dig up more streets and fill some peoples' pockets through the construction of never working pipes

Maybe the heaviest yet, i was on Sukhumvit coming back from Sattahip and some deep water areas towards Pattaya

So pretty much all of it then? But no mention of Klang that regularly becomes a Klong... ... at the 3rd junction. Have the drain pipes achieved anything......?

Was the new mayor out with a new gold bucket, or strangely quiet ?

I came through that junction around 4pm and did not realise there had been a big storm presumably earlier?

What time was the heavy rain? I came back into Pattaya from the 7 about 3.45pm but did not notice signs of heavy rain until nearly at the right turn off Suk at the top of Klang

Would love to get down to SUK road with the jetski when it floods !!
