Today we try and go through what we know about Thursday's horrific shooting of some 36 people, mostly innocent and very young children, at a day care centre in north eastern Thailand. Many questions now face Thai officials in the wake of this tragedy.

Thanks very much for this .  I started to watch it but couldn't carry on after the first minute.

I'll watch it later after I've dried my eyes and composed myself.

Such a tragic day. Reading the reports today, it seemed obvious to me that the RTP must accept a lot of the blame for this tragedy. They must have realised that the culprit was quite unfit to be a police officer a long time ago - they ignored the facts. He should have been prosecuted and thrown out of the force. It is hard to imagine that the police force are competent in any part of the requirements expected from a police force that are determined to keep honest citizens safe.

You are a bit behind the times here...he was thrown out of the force a long time ago, and he was being prosecuted (drug related) the day he carried out this terrible deed.
