Siam Rath reported that Bang Khun Thian police in western Bangkok along with rescue services were called after a motorcyclist went into the back of a pick-up at an intersection in the area of Ekachai Road.

At the Wat Singh intersection around 8pm yesterday they found a Vigo that was in the process of turning right with damage to the left rear.

A Fino motorcycle was overturned with damage to the front.

A man called View, 52, had serious head injuries and was very drunk.

He didn't want hospital treatment but was tied to a stretcher and taken to hospital all the same.

Thanasit, 30, the pick-up driver said he had slowed and was turning right when the motorcycle went into the back of him.

At first it appeared that the motorcyclist was unconscious but as rescue services arrived he recovered his senses though he refused help.

Police are waiting for the motorcyclist to recover sufficiently before prosecuting the case.

Siam Rath said in their headline that the motorcyclist had been drinking to celebrate the end of Buddhist Lent without offering any evidence that that was the case.

What is the point of closing bars, when people are able to party out of their skulls privately as this idiot obviously did?
Condolences to the pick up driver, I bet he will be the one out of pocket in the end. Khun View having spent all his money getting wasted will not doubt have a dozen reasons why he cannot pay.

Hope not too much damage to the pick-up

another drunk on the road.....bang him up for a long time....crush whatever is left of the bike keep him off the roads for the safety of others.....

'as rescue services arrived he recovered his senses though he refused help.'

That's a good one, recovered his senses, bit too late for that!????????????????

Too bad that they can't offer him ethical euthanisation.

Indeed....  I’m sure he’ll forget them again as soon as he has another drink and wants to ride home...:whistling:
