That is most amusing. It is as if the police are declaring war upon themselves. Who will win the war?

  • The police usually sell drugs, or protect those that do.  This is the right step forward. The corruption within the Police can't be changed easily or quickly.

  • Best to legalize them and tax them.

Oh no, not another bloody war!

Problem number 1 is government have raised the taxes on beer making it expensive, this causes people to either drink cheaper higher percentage spirits or buy meth which is now cheaper than a bottle of beer

Is there any more pointless effort than a War on Drugs? There has been a world-wide war on drugs for 40 to 50 years, and what has been the effect? Absolutely no reduction in drug use at all. Why continue with a totally pointless activity?

It is perhaps like controlling rats in a big City.... numbers are kept to a tolerable level, But to stop would mean they would take over.

When will they start a war on corruption?

users will be rounded up and locked up and pay up before court or after...big cash flow.

for traffickers/producers disrupt the supply of precursors which for years seems to be impossible

Take over what?

Has legal alcohol taken over society to the point everyone is drunk all day?

Why do you think any other drug is any different?

Because "they" told you -one hit and your hooked?

It's absolute bollicks!

Here's an idea.

Start a drug register, and make and sell clean dose controlled taxed drugs to adults from licensed pharmacies.

That way, all the loonies and real addicts can be observed, traced, and removed or treated before they go totally insane, kids will be protected from pushers, as they will be suddenly out of business, and the jail's will be full of real criminals instead of 97% recreational weekend users who just want to spice up their dull lives.

Or is that too sensible?

Here's another, don't bother.

Don't need it.

Is that too sensible or as silly as saying alcohol is not controlled!

a war on drugs

A war on drugs doesn't make any sense. Will they arrest those drugs or what?

How about a war on all those people in charge who allow drug dealers to operate? Fire all corrupt police and army officers, prosecute them and send them to jail.

Stop pretending that the police are even trying to solve the problem. They are a big part of the problem.
