Rainfall to increase in Northeast, East, Central Region, and Greater Bangkok on October 14 & 15

BANGKOK (NNT) - A weather advisory for October 14 and 15 has been issued for the Northeast, Eastern, and Central regions. An increase in rainfall is expected, with heavy rains occurring in some places.

Snoozing British driver gets spooked by police and crashes into Thai woman

A 67-year-old British driver who was dozing off inside his parked sedan reportedly got spooked by concerned Pattaya police before speeding away and crashing into a Thai woman.

Flooding in Thailand’s northeast is expected to improve next month

The flood situation in several north-eastern provinces is expected to improve during early November, as the water level in the Mun River in Ubon Ratchathani Province has been stable for three consecutive days and the flow into the Mekong River is improving, according to Ubon Ratchathani Governor Chonlatee Youngtrong.

Limited impacts expected on Thailand from three tropical depressions and a cyclone
