Popular Post Saanim
If the pool is tiled you (better your wife) can search in your area for any good tiler, getting offer for how much he can re-tile it. A lump sum, in Thai they call "mau". Or for a reasonable daily rate. Then you can buy any tiles as per you liking, easy to count how much you need. In Thailand there is plenty of any size and style offered. And don't get fooled by some that you cannot use kitchen tiles for a pool. With a suitable mortar you can lay the new tiles directly on the old tiling, hence, you will get double cladding. And with a large size 40x40 or even 60x60cm it's going fast, reducing the kms of grouting gaps that always cause the troubles at the mosaic tiles. With this style by own managing and supervising you will make it for a 10% of the sum what a pool company would ask for. 1

Then, please let us know how much rubbish have you heard in your life? Just curious... Anyway, I understand that my views are obviously not very favorable for a "proffesional" [sic]. That's not my problem. I am just mentioning how it can be made in Thailand where the bricklayers, tilers (chaang pun) are so cheap as well as the suitable material. That in contrast to the "proffesionals" (in Thailand). And describing how I did my 2 pools (in Thailand), clad by "kitchen tiles", the last one I have been using daily over 17 years and counting... (but I do not sell the pools ????) 1
