Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha flew to Sing Buri province today (Monday). His helicopter first landed in a stadium, belonging to the Sing Buri Provincial Administrative Organisation, for a briefing from officials on the flooding and relief being provided to its victims.

Then, he and his entourage proceeded to visit flood victims in Bang Karbue sub-district, Pikul Thong Temple in Tha Chang district and Village 3 in Pikul Thong sub-district at the end of his inspection trip.

Sing Buri is one of the most heavily-flooded provinces in the central region. The floods were caused by overflows from the Chao Phraya River. In Buri, Muang, Tha Chang, Phrom Buri, Bang Rachan and Khai Bang Rachan districts have been affected. 19,587 households in 148 villages have been inundated.

Another wasted day in the life of a useless PM. A phot op where he can tell the local authorities to stop the flooding next year, and then he thinks all the locals will love him !
