Popular Post SoilSpoil
Is it me, or are the hotel prices in December and November significantly higher than in other years. I got a quote from the big hotel on Kata Noi, and the price is 2 times than what I remember it was. Marriott around Christmas is more than a 100k for 3 nights for a family room. Better stay home and travel in March?
Popular Post marin
High season generally runs through Songkran so mid April the discounts will be back. After the last 3 years hotels are scrambling to make up income. Look around still some decent deals to be found.
Mickeymaus
What do you think? I just came back from Friendship here in Pattaya. Was a great place to buy pork filet because of the price. Now it costs about 50 percent more than last year. And that's just one example. Don't expect the same prices as in previous years.

Phuket is no worse than 5 years ago. Nor was HH.

Sparktrader
I believe peak for most hotels is dec 15 to jan 15 but you need to check with hotel. Wait til Feb less tourists better price.
DFPhuket
A friend of mine is the manager of a 4/5 star international hotel in Phuket. He told me occupancy continues to climb and they are already fully booked for many nights starting in mid-December through January.
madmitch
Prices everywhere will be significantly higher than they've been for the previous two years where prices were reduced just to get a few customers through the doors. I have looked and I reckon most hotels are still below the 2019 price.

Average rates are higher this year due to the fact that the demand is higher........ the last 2 years where not exactly normal Yet they are still below 2019 - on average
