When the IO asked for the photocopy of the yellow book, I handed it over (but was not asked for the original). No, I didn't offer the yellow house book with the usual papers handed to the IO at the beginning of the meeting. I had never needed to show it (and give a photocopy) over the years at CW, but I had read a note here on asean.com that they were asking for that now, as well as for a photocopy of the pink ID card, so I came armed with both. When the IO asked for the photocopy of the yellow book, I handed it over (but was not asked for the original). They did not ask for the pink ID card,. If I may, the yellow house book (and the blue one) was a piece of cake at my district office. You show them the deed (chanote) and sale contract (stamped by the Land Office), and you get both books. The pink card was a bit trickier and required a Thai witness, but they issued that to me, too. Every official document with my name on it makes me feel more secure here in LOS.
