Just to add, I recently had a chat with a young Russian couple ( temporary neighbour ). He was in the Military and like many he is not going to Donbas to fight Putins war. Here on a 45 day stamp then to Malaysia and back for another stamp, many are here in the same situation he said. Not sure if 'Russian Tourists' is the correct wording......

Send ALL Russians back to Russia and do NOT let in!!!

A good reason to scratch Phuket from my bucket list. I wonder what percentage of Russians holidaying there still support Putin.

I met some of these MFs the other week in Rawai while playing pool.  Their trick is that when introducing themselves they lie and say that they are from Ukraine.

Last night there was a bunch of about ten Indians around the ForEx counter at the end of Bangla basically faffing around and making a song and dance of the whole thing as they always do. I very assertively shooed them away and a cute young Russian lady, who was also waiting and fed up with their time-wasting, made a point of being extremely thankful. I wonder what she would have done if I'd been gallant enough to let her in front of me!

We all have our racist views but I generally have no problems with Russians, and I don't take that much notice of MSM to even form an opinion of their leader.

I would like to know what segment of the population is coming?

Service dodgers, lots more women than men?, People from the wealthy class, surely poor people can't afford to come.   Do they plan to stay as long as needed or on a short 45 day vacation?   Hmmm.

Avoiding the call-to-arms back home.

Maybe TAT will send a basket of Chicken delight to Putin as he won't be here for the Apec meeting.
