unblocktheplanet
Our 24-year Thai daughter, a Microsoftie liviing in Vancouver since finishing university, is coming home for a visit. We have lots of paperwork to renew but we want to get her signed up for the 30 baht health plan while she's here. She's on my wife's house registration and will have a current ID card. Where do we start? TIA!
FriendlyFarang
No need to sign up for it, as a Thai citizen she automatically qualifies for it.

Goto your local government hospital with her, her Thai ID and her house registration book to sign up. Crossy
You might be able to do it (and select your local hospital) on the SSO website https://www.sso.go.th/wpr/main Note, you will need a Thai speaker, the English option on the site is worse than useless.

SSo website is for people under the Social Security scheme, not the "30 baht" scheme. As she is not employed in Thailand she will not be under SS. For the "30 baht" scheme al;l she needs to do is go to the hospital which serves the area where she is listed in a tabian ban, bringing her Thai ID and tabian ban with her, and register for a patient number. She coudl also do all that only when she needs care but it is useful to do it in advance. 2
Crossy
@Sheryl Thanks for that, one could have hoped for a degree of integration, but of course TiT.
